STAMFORD - A nonprofit organization hosted its fifth annual back-to-school shopping spree Sunday where economically disadvantaged students can shop for free.
The event takes place once a year before school starts, but the organization Back to School Shop works year-round to make purchases and gather volunteers. All monetary donations go straight to buying the kids brand new clothes and school supplies.
